Privacy policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Lumolands (“Lumolands,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the Lumobox device, our websites, and any related apps, services, and support (collectively, the “Services”). We take privacy seriously and aim to explain our practices in plain language.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy is a template intended for U.S. users. You should review with counsel to ensure it matches your product behavior and compliance obligations (including COPPA and U.S. state privacy laws).
1) What this Privacy Policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain “Personal Information” (also called “personal data” under certain laws) when you use the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of third parties we do not own or control (for example, app stores, payment processors, or social media platforms).
2) Personal Information we collect
We collect Personal Information in three ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information from third parties.
A. Information you provide
Depending on how you interact with the Services, you may provide:
-
Account / profile information (e.g., name, email address, password)
-
Order and fulfillment information (e.g., shipping address, order history)
-
Customer support communications (e.g., emails, chat messages, attachments)
-
User content you submit through the Services (e.g., text prompts, creations, favorites, or labels you add)
B. Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
-
Device and network data (e.g., IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system)
-
Usage data (e.g., pages viewed, actions taken, time spent, crash logs)
-
Approximate location (derived from IP address)
We may use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 7.
C. Information from third parties
We may receive information from:
-
Payment processors (confirmation of payment status and limited billing metadata)
-
Shipping/fulfillment partners (delivery status)
-
Analytics and advertising partners (where permitted, and depending on your settings)
3) Audio, kids’ use, and family privacy
Lumobox is designed for family use. Because the Services may be used by children, we treat kids’ privacy as a core safety feature.
-
When audio is captured: Lumobox is engineered to respect your family's privacy. The device captures voice and audio data only when a user takes an intentional physical action, specifically by pressing and holding the designated recording button on the device. The device does not actively listen in the background.
-
Voice data storage: We do not store your voice recordings on our servers long-term. Any audio captured is temporary and is automatically and permanently deleted immediately after it has been processed and converted into text to execute the requested feature.
-
Prompts and creations: To provide a magical and continuous family experience, we store the text interpretations of prompts, generated outputs (such as text, images, or audio stories), and related metadata. This allows us to support essential features like creation history, reprints, parental review via our app, and customer troubleshooting.
4) How we use Personal Information
We use Personal Information to:

-
Improve and develop the Services (debugging, research, analytics, performance monitoring)
-

Payment processors to complete transactions (they handle payment card information)
-
Shipping and logistics partners to deliver orders
